The Asheville Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting North Buncombe Black Hawks to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hendersonville for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 18. Asheville will play a Bearcats team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Patton (Morganton, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, North Buncombe drops to 4-9 on the campaign. The Black hawks host Erwin (Asheville, NC) to play the Warriors in a The Mountain 3A/4A outing on Thursday, September 19. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 5-6.
