Virginia High School Volleyball - Western Branch can't get by Grassfield

Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Grassfield improves its record to 10-0 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) to face the Warriors in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 24. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Nansemond River won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA)

Next, the Bruins play the Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, September 24. Western Branch will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Cavaliers go into the test with a 2-10 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Churchland (Portsmouth, VA).
