In their next game, the Fusion play the Kennedy Commanders (Denver, CO) in a 4A City test, on Thursday, September 25. Regis Groff will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Commanders come into the test with a 1-7 record after their 45-0 league loss to Manual (Denver, CO).

With the defeat, Denver West drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO) to meet the Bison in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Bison go into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Vista PEAK Prep won 28-12 in their recent league test against Denver East (Denver, CO)
