Georgia High School Softball - Mill Creek bounces Central Gwinnett

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA) and the visiting Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA), observed Mill Creek's softball team notch a victory over Central Gwinnett by a tally of 16-0.

The Hawks (12-7) will now prepare for their bout against Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA). The Bears enter the 6A Region 8 contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Mountain View was routed by Buford (Buford, GA), 18-0, in a league contest.

The Black Knights now hold a 1-19 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 23. Central Gwinnett will face a Patriots squad coming off a 20-2 league loss to Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-13.
