The Bell Griffins (Washington, DC) volleyball held off the visiting Ballou Knights (Washington, DC), 2-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Griffins now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering for a DCIAA bout on Saturday, September 20. Bell will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Woodson (Washington, DC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Ballou drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Cardozo (Washington, DC) to clash with the Clerks in a DCIAA match on Thursday, September 25. The Clerks enter the match with a record of 1-5. Cardozo won 2-0 in their recent league match against Bard (Washington, DC)
