North Carolina High School Volleyball - Thomas Jefferson over Cherryville

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) and the visiting Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), saw Thomas Jefferson's volleyball squad beat Cherryville by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Thomas Jefferson upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Gryphons travel to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 21. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 13-2. Highland Tech won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC)

The Ironmen now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Shelby for a bout on Tuesday, September 26.
