In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Pelican Rapids Vikings volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Battle Lake Battlers.
The Vikings (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Otter Tail Central co-op [Battle Lake/Henning] (Battle Lake, MN). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Battlers clash with the Brandon/Evansville Chargers (Brandon, MN) in a Little Eight battle, on Thursday, September 21. Battle Lake will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Sebeka (Sebeka, MN).
