The Billingsley Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Maplesville Red Devils to 0 in the Bears league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now have a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Autaugaville for a 1A Area 7 game on Thursday, September 21. Billingsley will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Verbena (Verbena, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
The Red Devils (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Notasulga (Notasulga, AL). The Blue Devils enter the 1A Area 7 game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Notasulga gained a win over Valley (Valley, AL), 3-0, in a non-league game.
