Texas High School Football - Sweeny over Brazosport

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Sweeny Bulldogs (Sweeny, TX) and the visiting Brazosport Exporters (Freeport, TX), saw Sweeny's football team gain a win over Brazosport by a final score of 40-14.

With the win, Sweeny advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Harmony School of Innovation (Katy, TX) to encounter the Wildcats in a 4A-2 Region III District 10 bout on Friday, September 26. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Harmony School of Innovation lost 29-0 in their recent non-league bout against Village (Houston, TX)

The Exporters now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bay City for a non-league bout on Friday, September 26. Brazosport will encounter a Blackcats team coming off a 35-7 non-league loss to Sealy (Sealy, TX). The Blackcats record now stands at 3-1.
