Alabama High School Football - Wenonah falls to Briarwood Christian

The Briarwood Christian Lions ran past the host Wenonah Dragons football squad by a margin of 40-22 in Friday's league test.

The Lions now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leeds for a non-league test on Friday, September 26. Briarwood Christian will meet a Greenwave squad coming off a 30-7 league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL). The Greenwave record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Wenonah drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Huffman (Birmingham, AL) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 1-3. Huffman lost 49-7 in their recent league test against Pell City (Pell City, AL)
