In Friday's league outing, the visiting Oxford Prep Griffins soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Vance Charter Knights.

The Griffins (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC). The Pride go into the Triangle North 1A/2A outing with a 5-10 record.

Next up, the Knights confront the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC) in a Triangle North 1A/2A test, on Thursday, September 25. Vance Charter will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Flying Lions come into the test with a 10-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Emerson Waldorf (Chapel Hill, NC).
