North Carolina High School Football - East Rowan overwhelmed by North Stanly

September 2, 2024: Salisbury, NC 28146

In Monday's non-league game, the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) football team triumphed over the host East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), by a tally of 42-0.

In their next game, the Comets battle the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 6. North Stanly will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 28-21 non-league win over Cummings (Burlington, NC).

The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Salisbury (Salisbury, NC). The Hornets enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Salisbury was trounced by Walkertown (Walkertown, NC), 47-33, in a non-league game.
