California High School Flag Football - Manteca tops Escalon

The Manteca Buffaloes flag football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Escalon Cougars to 0 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Buffaloes now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atwater for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. Manteca will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 26-6 non-league loss to McClatchy (Sacramento, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Escalon drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Beyer (Modesto, CA) to meet the Patriots in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 2-1. Beyer won 21-0 in their recent non-league test against Enochs (Modesto, CA)
