The Mavericks (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI). The Cougars come into the Lakes Valley battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, South Lyon East lost by Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Captains encounter the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) in a Lakes Valley battle, on Thursday, September 22. Kettering will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 4-10 record after their 3-1 league loss to South Lyon (South Lyon, MI).
