Ohio High School Football - Monroe Central tops Buckeye Local

The Monroe Central Seminoles football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Buckeye Local Panthers to 19 in the Seminoles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Seminoles now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Magnolia for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Monroe Central will meet a Blue Eagles squad coming off a 52-16 non-league loss to Cameron (Cameron, WV). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Buckeye Local drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH) to meet the Zeps in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Zeps come into the test with a record of 2-3. Shenandoah lost 48-7 in their recent non-league test against Union Local (Belmont, OH)
