The Mattanawcook/Lee Academy/Penobscot Valley football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Old Town Coyotes to 33 in the league triumph on Friday.

The now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Madison/Carrabec/Valley for a D North test on Friday, October 4.

With the defeat, Old Town drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Coyotes host John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to meet the Crusaders in a test on Thursday, September 26. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 1-2. John Bapst Memorial won 42-0 in their recent non-league test against Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME)
