The Wheat Ridge Farmers flag football team (Wheat Ridge, CO), was crushed 48-0 in Saturday's league bout with the visiting Lakewood Tigers (Lakewood, CO)

The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO). The Rams enter the 4A Jeffco contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Green Mountain crushed Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO), 33-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Farmers battle the Littleton Lions (Littleton, CO) in a 4A Jeffco contest, on Wednesday, September 24. Wheat Ridge will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 7-6 league win over Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO).
