In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Marysville Vikings volleyball team scored a close 1-0 victory over the Lakeview Huskies.

The Vikings (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI). The Huskies enter the non-league challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Port Huron Northern got by L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Huskies meet the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen (Grosse Pointe, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Lakeview will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Norsemen enter the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI).
