The Pirates now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Fayette County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. Winfield will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Haleyville (Haleyville, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 11-3.
