The Smithfield Sentinels football team (Esmond, RI), was ripped 40-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI)
The Broncos (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Villa Novans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Woonsocket was ripped by Barrington (Barrington, RI), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Sentinels now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Woonsocket for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 5.
