In Saturday's league challenge, the host Sioux Central Rebels volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the North Union Warriors.

The Rebels (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA). The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, West Bend-Mallard was nudged by Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Harris-Lake Park Wolves (Lake Park, IA) in a challenge, on Saturday, September 21. North Union will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA).
