The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Crown Point Bulldogs (Crown Point, IN) and the visiting Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN), saw Crown Point's volleyball squad nip Lake Central by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Crown Point upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Portage (Portage, IN) to play the Indians in a bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

The Indians now own a 14-1 record. They play next when they travel to Portage for a bout on Tuesday, September 27.
