The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Brook Hill Guard (Bullard, TX) and the host Shelton Chargers (Dallas, TX), saw Brook Hill's volleyball squad beat Shelton by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Brook Hill upgrades its record to 13-16 on the year. The Guard host McKinney Christian Academy (McKinney, TX) to play the Mustangs in a TAPPS 4A District 2 bout on Thursday, September 29. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-2.

The Chargers now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Covenant Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 27. Shelton will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.
