The Giles Spartans football team (Pearisburg, VA), was ripped 42-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA)
The Blue Devils (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers come into the Mountain Empire challenge with a 3-1 record.
The Spartans now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Auburn for a Mountain Empire challenge on Friday, September 29. Giles will meet a Eagles team coming off a 50-0 league loss to Galax (Galax, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
