Alabama High School Volleyball - Sardis tips Etowah

In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Sardis Lions volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Etowah Blue Devils.
The Lions (18-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas (Douglas, AL). The Eagles come into the 5A Area 13 challenge with a 1-13 record. In their last test, Douglas was edged by Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pennington for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. Etowah will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Appalachian (Oneonta, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 12-14.
