California High School Football - Rosemont knocks off Foothill

September 23, 2022: Sacramento, CA 95842

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Rosemont Wolverine (Sacramento, CA) and the host Foothill Mustangs (Sacramento, CA), observed Rosemont's football squad thwart Foothill by a count of 48-24.

The Wolverine now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Galt for a Sierra Valley Conference contest on Friday, September 30. Rosemont will play a Warriors squad coming off a 35-31 non-league loss to Calaveras (San Andreas, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA) in a Greater Sacramento contest, on Friday, September 30. Foothill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 41-6 non-league loss to Union Mine (El Dorado, CA).
