The South El Monte Eagles routed the host Glendale Nitros football squad by a tally of 34-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Rosemead Panthers (Rosemead, CA) in a Mission Valley bout, on Friday, September 30. South El Monte will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 19-14 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA).
The Nitros (0-6) will now prepare for their bout against Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA). The Kares enter the non-league bout with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Rio Hondo Prep walloped Savanna (Anaheim, CA), 53-20, in a non-league bout.
