In Saturday's league match, the host Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans football squad scored a good 16-8 victory over the Taft School Big Red.

In their next game, the Pelicans clash with the Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) in a Founders match, on Saturday, September 30. Loomis Chaffee School will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
