The Gretna Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Magna Vista Warriors to 0 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hawks now possess a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Altavista for a Dogwood outing on Monday, September 30. Gretna will play a Colonels team coming off a 3-1 league win over Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Magna Vista drops to 8-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host George Washington (Danville, VA) to play the Eagles in a Piedmont outing on Tuesday, September 24.
