Ohio High School Football - Alexander routed by Vinton County

The Alexander Spartans football team (Albany, OH), was ripped 46-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH)

The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Warren (Vincent, OH). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Warren was ripped by Dover (Dover, OH), 49-7, in a league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to River Valley for a Tri-Valley - Ohio challenge on Friday, October 1. Alexander will meet a Raiders team coming off a 46-6 league loss to Wellston (Wellston, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.
