The Gardiner Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Lake Region Lakers to 0 in the Tigers league victory on Saturday.

The Tigers now have a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westbrook for a Class B game on Monday, September 26. Gardiner will meet a Blue Blazes team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME). The Blue Blazes record now stands at 2-6.

The Lakers (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Messalonskee (Oakland, ME). The Eagles enter the Class B game with a 5-2 record.
