The Marian Catholic Spartans topped the host Rich Township Raptors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans now have a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradley-Bourbonnais for a non-league test on Saturday, September 24. Marian Catholic will confront a Boilermakers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 9-7.
The Raptors (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Lincoln-Way West was knocked off by Lockport (Lockport, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
