California High School Flag Football - Pleasant Grove trounces Monterey Trail

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Pleasant Grove Eagles flag football squad scored a decisive 39-6 triumph over the Monterey Trail Mustangs.

The Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Sheldon (Sacramento, CA). The Huskies come into the Delta League match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Sheldon routed Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA), 22-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Mustangs meet the Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA) in a Delta League match, on Thursday, September 26. Monterey Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Thundering Herd come into the match with a 0-6 record after their 19-0 league loss to Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA).
