The Bemidji Lumberjacks volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Pine River-Backus Tigers to 2 in the Lumberjacks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lumberjacks now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Duluth East for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 26. Bemidji will play a Greyhounds team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Greenway (Coleraine, MN). The Greyhounds record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Pine River-Backus drops to 12-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Blackduck (Blackduck, MN) to play the Drakes in a Northwoods outing on Thursday, September 26.
