Illinois High School Volleyball - Alleman can't hold off Morrison

September 25, 2023: Rock Island, IL 61201

In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Morrison Mustangs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Alleman Pioneers.

The Mustangs (3-14) will now prepare for their battle against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL). The Rams come into the Three Rivers battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Riverdale was edged by Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Pioneers clash with the East Moline United Panthers (East Moline, IL) in a Western Big 6 battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Alleman will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 3-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL).
