The South Rowan Raiders football squad scored 21 points and limited the host Concord Spiders to 16 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Raiders now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host West Rowan for a non-league game on Thursday, October 2. South Rowan will face a Falcons team coming off a 20-14 non-league loss to Carson (China Grove, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 2-2.
The Spiders (0-5) will now prepare for their outing against Jay M. Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Jay M. Robinson edged Salisbury (Salisbury, NC), 36-12, in a non-league outing.
