North Carolina High School Football - Middle Creek beat Hoke County

The Middle Creek Mustangs football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Hoke County Bucks to 22 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sanderson for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. Middle Creek will face a Spartans team coming off a 40-0 non-league win over Knightdale (Knightdale, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 2-2.

The Bucks (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Jaguars enter the game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Overhills fell by South View (Hope Mills, NC), 14-0, in a non-league game.
