In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Granada Matadors volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Livermore Cowboys.

The Matadors (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA). The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Dougherty Valley was beaten by California (San Ramon, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cowboys meet the Bentley Phoenix (Lafayette, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Livermore will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
