The Meadville Eagles softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Grundy County Panthers to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Meadville improves its record to 11-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Bevier (Bevier, MO) to clash with the Wildcats in a Class 1 District 11 game on Tuesday, September 27. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 0-1.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Novinger Wildcats (Novinger, MO) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 6. Grundy County will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
