Next up, the Cougars battle the Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) in a Grossmont Valley match, on Wednesday, September 28. Steele Canyon will attempt to better on its 3-16 season record. The Matadors come into the match with a 2-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA).

With the loss, Monte Vista drops to 1-12 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to battle the Foothillers in a Grossmont Hills match on Wednesday, September 28.
