Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD), 2-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Quakers confront the Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 29. Sidwell Friends will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over St. James (Hagerstown, MD).
The Lions now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flint Hill for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 29. St. Andrew's Episcopal will confront a Huskies team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Huskies record now stands at 2-3.
