The Rowe Warriors walloped the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies football team by a score of 54-14 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) in a 5A-1 Region IV District 16 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Rowe will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Rattlers go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 20-6 league loss to Palmview (La Joya, TX).

The Huskies (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Vela (Edinburg, TX). The Sabercats go into the 5A-1 Region IV District 16 challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Vela bounced McAllen (McAllen, TX), 41-10, in a league challenge.
