In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Garden Spot Spartans volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers.

The Spartans (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Schuylkill Valley (Leesport, PA). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Schuylkill Valley beat Fleetwood (Fleetwood, PA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Cocalico Eagles (Denver, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 challenge, on Monday, September 30. Lampeter-Strasburg will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Warwick (Lititz, PA).
