The Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) football bounced the host DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL), 45-7 in Friday's league contest.
The Knights (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Boilermakers enter the Southwest Valley - Red bout with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Bradley-Bourbonnais smashed Stagg (Palos Hills, IL), 40-6, in a league bout.
The Barbs now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Lincoln-Way West for a non-league bout on Friday, October 3. DeKalb will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 27-17 league win over Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 5-0.
