Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Irvington Blue Knights (Irvington, NJ), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Caldwell moves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Cedar Grove won 5-1 in their recent league test against East Side (Newark, NJ)

The Blue Knights now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newark Tech for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. Irvington will clash with a Terries team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Columbia (Maplewood, NJ). The Terries record now stands at 3-3.
