Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South Meteors (Calumet City, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Homewood-Flossmoor moves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Andrew (Tinley Park, IL) to clash with the Thunderbolts in a SouthWest Suburban Blue test on Tuesday, September 30. The Thunderbolts come into the test with a record of 5-6. Andrew 2-2 in their recent league test against Lockport (Lockport, IL)
The Meteors now have a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shepard for a South Suburban test on Tuesday, September 30.
