In Saturday's non-league battle, the Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA) volleyball squad toppled the host Vandebilt Catholic Terriers (Houma, LA), by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Mt. Carmel improves its record to 22-2 on the season. The Cubs travel to Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, September 29. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 11-6. Fontainebleau lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS)

Next, the Terriers battle the Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 29. Vandebilt Catholic will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 5-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA).
