South Carolina High School Football - Timberland nips Bishop England

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Timberland Wolves football squad scored a close 6-0 victory over the Bishop England Battling Bishops.

In their next game, the Wolves clash with the Academic Magnet Raptors (North Charleston, SC) in a AA Region 7 match, on Friday, October 7. Timberland will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Raptors enter the match with a 5-0 record after their 36-22 non-league win over Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC).

The Battling Bishops (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Lake Marion (Santee, SC). The Gators enter the AA Region 7 match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Lake Marion was nudged by Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 42-8, in a league match.
