The Jackson-Olin Mustangs topped the visiting Bessemer City Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now have a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodlawn for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 3. Jackson-Olin will confront a Colonels team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Jemison (Jemison, AL). The Colonels record now stands at 11-7.
The Tigers (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Brookwood (Brookwood, AL). The Panthers enter the 6A Area 7 test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Brookwood was knocked off by Hueytown (Hueytown, AL), 3-0, in a league test.
