The Brown County Hornets topped the host Illinois School for the Deaf Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Hornets now have a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Astoria/VIT for a non-league test on Monday, October 3. Brown County will confront a Rebels team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Beardstown (Beardstown, IL). The Rebels record now stands at 1-1.

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Edinburg (Edinburg, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record.
